Meet With Jesus
The Angel's Carol
The Lord is Robed in Majesty
The "I Love Jesus" Song
Every Prayer I say

Meet with Jesus.

Have you met
the Lord of heaven,
God of God
and King of Kings?
One who is a
playful Jesus,
one who dances,
one who sings.

(Chorus)
Do you know him,
really know him,
man of personality?
Come and meet
the wondrous Jesus
in his multiplicity.

Have you met
the human Jesus?
One who shares
our tears and pain.
One who showers
us with blessings.
One who perished,
took the blame.

(Chorus)
Do you know him,
really know him,
man of personality?
Come and meet
the wondrous Jesus
in his multiplicity.

Have you met
an angry Jesus,
who won’t stand
hypocrisy?
One who’s lavish,
all creative.
Person of great
probity.

(Chorus)
Do you know him,
really know him,
man of personality?
Come and meet
the wondrous Jesus
in his multiplicity.

Have you met
the risen Jesus?
One who died
to set you free.
Suffered torture,
degradation,
on a cross at
Calvary.

(Chorus)
Do you know him,
really know him,
man of personality?
Come and meet
the wondrous Jesus
in his multiplicity.

The Angel’s Carol.
(To the tune of “In the Bleak Mid-Winter.”)
When the Angel Gabriel
told Mary of your birth,
did we understand, Lord
just what that was worth?
The baby in the manger
an image that’s so sweet.
One day we will all bow
and worship at his feet.

When the shepherds saw you
and gave a lamb so small,
did we understand Lord
our need to give you all?
The wise men with their gifts
who knelt upon the floor
show us of our need
to worship and adore.

When we wrap our presents
and decorate the tree
and send each other cards
to share our jollity,
can we join the wise men
who knelt so beautifully
acknowledging the Godhead
for all eternity?

Should we think and pray
on all the angels say,
about the Christmas story
which warms our hearts today?
Are we really ready
your present to receive
and live with you forever
if only we believe?

The Lord is Robed in Majesty.

(To the tune Crimond.

Based on Psalm 93.)

The Lord is robed in majesty
and he reigns with mastery.
Lord, your throne is sure,
your love will endure,
for all eternity.

The seas have lifted up their sound,
pounding waves crash all around.
Only you can shake
all hell’s power and break,
the forces opposed to you.

Your words O Lord are right and true.
Through them Lord we honour you.
We need have no fear,
if we hold them dear
and worship and follow you.

Your rule has made the world secure
and your Holy word stands sure.
Sacredness and grace
form your heavenly place
for now and evermore.

The ‘I Love Jesus’ Song.

I love Jesus
at the start of the day,
he makes me happy
when I kneel and pray.
He loves my Mummy
and my Daddy too.
I love Jesus
and Jesus loves you.

I love Jesus
when I go to school.
He holds my hand
and I feel cool.
He’s always there
whatever I do.
I love Jesus
and Jesus loves you.

I love Jesus.
I love my dog.
I love my cat
and I love frogs!
I love my rabbit
and my family too.
I love Jesus
and Jesus loves you

I love Jesus
cos he made the sun.
He makes me happy
and I have fun.
He made the sky
and he made the sea.
I love Jesus
and Jesus loves me.

I love Jesus
when I go to bed.
He gives me peace
when I rest my head.
So I say thank you
cos I can see,
that I love Jesus
and Jesus loves me.

Every Prayer I Say.

Every prayer I say

from my heart each day

brings me closer to you

enables you to get through

and shine your light on my way.

When I give to you

everything I must do.

You take hold of my heart

and you help me to start

on the way up to you.

Every single hour

of every single day

I can draw on your power

to help me on my way.

O come and fill this space

with your love and grace.

Help me love others too

and start to bring them to you

and the heavenly place.

O Lord you help me see

just what I want to be.

Help me see it your way,

help me reach out today

and touch Divinity.

Every single hour

of every single day

I can draw on your power

to help me on my way.

When I give you first place

with your love you embrace.

If I keep you in sight

everything just flows right

throughout all time and space.

So every prayer I say

from my heart each day

brings me closer to you

enables you to get through

and shine your light on my way.
